Cherokee Millwright, Inc. seeks a skilled Multi-Craft Pipefitter to install, lay out, assemble and maintain pipe systems across steam, hot water, and industrial production lines. The role emphasizes cross-training across millwrighting, pipefitting, welding, sheet metal and related trades.

Based in our Cleveland, TN operations, you’ll read and follow specifications, cut and thread pipe, and ensure safe, reliable piping solutions for our clients' facilities.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination.

Mansioni

• Cut, thread and hammer pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders and benders.
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings and related equipment, according to specifications, by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering and threading joints.
• Attach pipes to walls, structures and fixtures, such as radiators or tanks, using brackets, clamps, tools or welding equipment.
• Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines, using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods.
• Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading.
• Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications.
• Additional skills in other crafts will be necessary to meet our customers need and will be expected in this role.
