Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a skilled PLC Maintenance Technician to support and maintain industrial automation systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will troubleshoot, program, modify, and optimize PLC-controlled equipment to maximize uptime and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and multi-craft maintenance across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in an industrial or automotive manufacturing environment.
• Multi-craft maintenance experience including electrical troubleshooting, mechanical systems, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs, including troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment, reading ladder logic, and experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar PLC platforms.

This role is responsible for troubleshooting, programming, modifying, and optimizing PLC-controlled equipment to maximize uptime, improve efficiency, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with PLC platforms, electrical controls, automated equipment, and industrial maintenance practices.
