The Employee Connect is hiring a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for a fast-paced, safety-first production facility in the Augusta area. You will diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment, read schematics and PLC ladder logic, and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production machinery.
• Read electrical schematics, blueprints, and PLC ladder logic.
• Install, align, and rebuild motors, gearboxes, pumps, and conveyors.
• Follow lockout tagout and all plant safety procedures.
• Document work orders and parts usage in the maintenance system.
• Partner with production teams to reduce downtime.

Location: Augusta, GA area (worksite in Graniteville, SC)

Shift/Schedule: Full-time, onsite, rotating shifts with overtime opportunities

Pay/Compensation: $70,720 – $91,520 per year (equivalent to $34.00 – $44.00 per hour)

Technicians keep high-volume manufacturing equipment running through skilled electrical and mechanical repair work. The ideal candidate is a skilled maintenance technician who can move between electrical and mechanical repairs with confidence. You work well with production teams, communicate clearly across shifts, and document your repairs carefully so the next technician can pick up where you left off.

Core Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment

Required Qualifications

• Electrical troubleshooting skills including three-phase power and motor controls
• Mechanical skills with bearings, drives, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical school or apprenticeship in industrial maintenance
• PLC troubleshooting experience with Allen-Bradley or Siemens
• Welding and fabrication skills
• Automotive, rubber, or heavy manufacturing experience
• Electrical or mechanical craft certification
