Job summary

Surge Staffing in Sunbury, OH seeks a Multi-Craft Electro-Mechanical Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment.

You will perform preventive maintenance, read schematics, install motors, drives, sensors and conveyors, and support safety and continuous improvement initiatives; shifts are 2nd or 3rd with pay DOE.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance or electro-mechanical technician experience preferred.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills required.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and industrial robotics preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled production equipment.

Pay: DOE (Depending on Experience)

Shift Options:

• 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM

Shift end times may vary based on production targets and daily output requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled production equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and support PLC, robotic, servo, and automated systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Install, maintain, and repair motors, drives, sensors, conveyors, and control systems.
• Work with engineers and production teams to improve equipment reliability and production efficiency.
• Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
