Job summary

Surge Staffing in Sunbury, OH is seeking a Multi-Craft Electro-Mechanical Technician on 2nd or 3rd shift to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled production equipment.

You will read schematics, install and repair motors, drives, sensors, conveyors, and control systems, working with engineers to improve reliability and efficiency. 2+ years' experience and PLC/robotics familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance or electro-mechanical technician experience preferred.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills required.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and industrial robotics preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of automated manufacturing equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled production equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and support PLC, robotic, servo, and automated systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Install, maintain, and repair motors, drives, sensors, conveyors, and control systems.
• Work with engineers and production teams to improve equipment reliability and production efficiency.
• Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.

Shift Options:

• 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM

Shift end times may vary based on production targets and daily output requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled production equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
