Centor in Millersburg, Ohio is seeking a Multi-Craft (Electrical) Maintenance Technician for the night shift 7pm-7am on a 2-2-3 schedule. The role focuses on troubleshooting and repair of injection and stretch blow molding equipment, conveyors, and plant systems using electrical blueprints.

You will follow maintenance procedures, perform preventative maintenance, and work under the Maintenance Manager to improve equipment reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems using blueprints and schematics.
• Proficient with 480/240/120 V DC, single and 3-phase power, pneumatic and hydraulic operation.
• Experience with PLCs and HMI programming and Allen Bradley products.
• Knowledge of OSHA and NEC electrical standards.
• Strong use of precision tools such as micrometers and multimeters.
• Ability to read and follow design sketches and verbal instructions.
• Fluent in reading and writing English.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot equipment per procedures and start/restart moulding machines.
• Inspect machines for wear or safety hazards and perform cleaning and lubrication.
• Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical controls including PLCs, relays, drives, and test equipment.
• Follow work instructions and assist in updating or training others on procedures.
• Contribute to process improvements and problem root-cause analysis.

Pay: $35.40/hr

Shift Diff: $2.00/hr (for off shift)

Sign-On Bonus: $4,000

Centor in Millersburg, Ohio is hiring Multi-Craft (Electrical) Maintenance Technicians for our night shift 7pm-7am. Our 2-2-3 schedule means you'll work just 15-16 days each month and enjoying paid breaks. PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager and Electrical Expeditor, the Multi-Craft (Electrical) Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repair of Plant injection and stretch blow molding machines, auxiliary production equipment (UV printers, hot leaf printers, assembly machines, bagger machines, carton erectors, stretch wrapping units, material handling conveying equipment), and Plant systems (chilled water systems, dehumidification systems, vacuum material delivery system, etc.). Perform machinery and systems repairs using electrical blueprints.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Performs all tasks necessary to operate equipment according to procedure.
• Perform start/restart of plastic injection molding machinery.
• Visually inspect machines and support equipment for worn parts or safety hazards.
• Perform cleaning and lubrication of equipment as needed or directed.
• Performs preventative maintenance on mechanical machinery and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoots and repairs electrical controls including PLC's, 3 phase & single phase circuits, relays, switches, power supplies, drives, gauges and test equipment.
• PLC and HMI programming utilizing RSLogix and FTView (Allen Bradley Products).
• Follows work instructions and may be asked to write, revise and train others to those instructions.
• Provide input for modifications/new designs for continuous improvement.
• Performs root cause analysis when problems arise to determine if actions can be taken immediately or appropriate personnel need to be called.
• Maintains 5S environment in work area.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds independently, or up to 80 pounds in team-lift scenario.
• Adheres to plant and corporate safety policies. May assist in other areas or perform other duties as required.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Possesses well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with 480, 240, 120, 24 DC, single and 3-phase power, pneumatic, hydraulic operation.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems with the aid of blueprints, drawings & schematics.
• Knowledge of OSHA and National Electric Code (NEC).
• Strong background using precision tools (micrometers, multimeters, indicators, voltage testers).
• Experience with electrical components, sensors, AC/DC drives/motors and servo drives/motors.
• Ability to read, write and follow written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• Must be able to work from design sketches, drawings and verbal instructions.
• Possesses good math skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Outlook.
