Job summary

Georgia Institute of Technology seeks an Area Maintenance Manager to lead a multi-craft maintenance team across campus in Atlanta. You will oversee maintenance and repair activities, set goals, assess performance, and provide feedback while coordinating with project management, designers, engineers, vendors and customers.

The role requires 6–8 years of experience, a technical diploma or associate degree (bachelor's preferred), and a valid Georgia Driver's License.

Qualifications

• Six to eight years of job-related experience.
• Technical Diploma or Associate's Degree (Bachelor's preferred).
• Valid Georgia Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance and repairs for the assigned area.
• Ensure optimal operation of building components and systems.
• Coordinate work with Facilities units, contractors and vendors.
• Provide estimates and budgets for minor and major projects.
• Coordinate acquisition of materials.
• Supervise personnel and evaluate performance.
• Participate in recruiting and staff development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
