Job summary

The Springs Living, LLC is seeking a Director of Dining Operations to provide strategic leadership and hands-on support for dining and front-of-house operations across multiple communities in Beaverton, Oregon.

You will partner with community and culinary leaders to develop programs, coach teams, implement standards, and create exceptional dining experiences that promote resident wellness and engagement. This role emphasizes service excellence, compliance, and scalable systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive food service, hospitality, or restaurant management experience, including 3+ years leading teams and multi-site operations.
• Experience developing and implementing service standards, workflows, SOPs, or operational systems with measurable improvements.
• 5+ years coaching, training, and developing hospitality teams with performance accountability.
• Proven track record of improving customer/resident/guest satisfaction via service standards, feedback, programming, or measurable initiatives.
• Working knowledge of HACCP, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety, with experience managing labor, inventory, budgets, or other F&B metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve dining and hospitality standards, service models, and operational practices across communities.
• Coach, train, and support front-of-house teams to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
• Conduct regular site visits and quality assessments using resident feedback and metrics to identify improvements.
• Partner with Culinary and leadership to improve dining experience, food quality, safety, sanitation, and cleanliness.
• Develop and implement dining programs, events, branding, and resident-facing experiences.
• Create scalable systems, training, tools, and rollout plans to support growth and consistency.
• Establish feedback systems turning resident insights into service improvements.
• Develop service benchmarks and accountability tools to measure performance and excellence.
• Provide strategic oversight of POS, communication, automation, and hospitality tech.
• Support leadership with team development, performance management, problem resolution, and operational planning.
• Ensure front-of-house operations meet organizational, regulatory, and HACCP standards across communities.
