Job summary

Hallmark Printing Operator position at the Leavenworth Production Center requires assisting the Lead Printing Operator in operating a high-speed, multi-color press for wrapping paper and tissue. Role involves setup adjustments, color target attainment, and monitoring press performance to ensure quality output.

The candidate should have press experience, color perception ability, and mechanical aptitude, with overtime as needed in peak seasons.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months successful experience as a Merit 17 Print Apprentice.
• Minimum 1 year experience running equipment at various operator levels including GA 40/GA 39/GA37 and related roles.
• Minimum 1 year experience running equipment in Packaging Operator level.
• Equivalent external experience accepted.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting equipment and print issues to meet customer standards.
• Help set up press with correct components to achieve color targets and minimize waste.
• Fill in for Lead Printing Operator during breaks and lunches.
• Execute quality systems including preflight, sampling, and salvage removal.
• Prepare paperwork for shipping accuracy and perform press maintenance and cleaning.
