Job summary

Cencora, Inc. is seeking a Principal Engineer, Cloud Security Engineering to lead security across our multi-cloud environment.

You will design, implement, and continuously improve enterprise cloud security capabilities in Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud, embedding security into development lifecycles. You will drive automated guardrails, CNAPP/CSPM/CWPP/CIEM implementations, and secure cloud platform integration, partnering with IAM, AppSec, and platform teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or related technical disciplines.
• Hands-on engineering with Azure, AWS, or GCP, with deep expertise in at least one hyperscaler.
• Experience designing enterprise cloud security capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, identity, workload protection, and cloud-native security services.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and implement enterprise cloud security across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Develop CNAPP, CSPM, CWPP, CIEM, and cloud exposure management capabilities.
• Build infrastructure-as-code and policy-as-code for secure cloud deployments.
• Integrate cloud security controls into CI/CD environments and automation pipelines.
• Provide technical leadership and establish cloud security standards and roadmaps.
