Job summary

Block MB is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to own and evolve the infrastructure management system behind its platform. This IC role sits on a flat engineering team of about 20, and you’ll work on cross-cloud automation for customers from seed-stage startups to post-IPO companies.

You will design and implement software that provisions and rolls out changes across AWS, GCP and Azure, collaborating closely with customers to translate needs into platform improvements and maintain high

Qualifications

4+ years as an infrastructure or platform engineer.
Currently write production application code as a software engineer.
Built or contributed to core infrastructure at an infra-focused company or with high engineering standards.
Strong proficiency in Go.
Hands-on multi-cloud experience (AWS, GCP or Azure).

Responsibilities

Build and maintain software that provisions, manages and rolls out infrastructure changes across hundreds of cloud accounts on AWS, GCP and Azure.
Design cloud-agnostic infrastructure architecture that scales from seed-stage companies to public enterprises.
Engineer reliable, automated systems to handle multi-cloud Kubernetes deployments at scale.
Collaborate directly with customers on Slack and calls to understand their infrastructure needs and translate into platform improvements.
Raise reliability and code quality so that customers’ DevOps teams can trust the platform.
