Job summary

VTG is seeking an experienced Network Architect to design, standardize, and evolve enterprise-scale cloud and network architectures supporting a government program. You will define roadmaps, develop scalable and secure solutions, and collaborate with engineering teams across multiple cloud environments.

The role requires a Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph, a Bachelor's or Master's in CS or related field, and 11+ years in network/systems architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 11 years of relevant experience in network engineering, systems engineering, or architecture roles.
• Experience with multi-cloud environments and infrastructure as code.
• Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, Java, and Bash.
• Experience with container tech (Docker, Kubernetes) and configuration management tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise network and cloud architecture standards across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, IBM, and Oracle environments.
• Develop high-level system specifications and architecture models for complex enterprise applications.
• Provide strategic direction and roadmaps for enterprise network and system architecture evolution.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure solutions.
• Integrate automation and infrastructure-as-code into architectural designs.
