Job summary

Pacer Group in Atlanta, GA seeks an experienced cloud engineer to architect, secure, and maintain robust multi-cloud environments supporting mission-critical applications. You will work within the Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure department reporting to the Director of Cloud Engineering.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining cloud-based applications, translating business requirements into code, ensuring scalable, robust solutions, and staying ahead of emerging cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• Must have experience architecting cloud-scale distributed messaging systems.
• Strong knowledge of network & security technologies in cloud environments.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

• Installs and maintains cloud-based applications, systems, and associated infrastructures | Monitors system performance, troubleshooting and resolving errors.
• Translates business requirements into code and documentation while managing the life-cycle and communication for assigned projects.
• Oversees the proper implementation and integration of web and cloud-based applications | Ensures quality of solutions are robust, scalable and efficient.
• Analyzes and defines business requirements to determine specifications and standards | Consults with internal and external resources to develop solutions.
• Stays informed of emerging cloud technologies and evaluates the value to the organization’s operations.
