Job summary

The Goddard School of Concord (Highland Creek) in Concord, NC seeks energetic, dependable Resource/Floater staff to support multiple classrooms. You will help with coverage, transitions, and daily routines while maintaining a safe, engaging environment for children.

Qualifications

• Experience with young children in licensed childcare settings preferred.
• A CDA or Early Childhood Credential is preferred.
• Current enrollment in an Early Childhood Education program is welcomed.
• Associate’s degree or coursework in ECE/Child Development or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support classrooms throughout the school as needed, including coverage and daily routines.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and engaging environment for children.
• Provide nurturing care and supervision while supporting lead teachers.
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability across age groups and activities.
• Assist with classroom management, activities, and lesson plan implementation.
• Communicate professionally with children, families, coworkers, and administration.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and health and safety standards.
• Identify classroom needs and offer proactive assistance.
• Support social, emotional, and developmental growth of children.
