Job summary

ENGEO is seeking a Special Inspector to perform field duties such as reinforcing steel and concrete placement inspections, along with concrete sampling on project sites in California. The role requires ACI and ICC certifications and entails documenting inspection results daily on a company-provided tablet.

You will join a collaborative team, communicate efficiently with clients and project managers, and uphold safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be drug-free and have a good driving record.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Strong computer skills for daily data entry.
• Ability to safely transport up to 50 lbs.
• Strong interpersonal skills to support client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Perform field duties including reinforcing steel inspection and concrete placement inspection.
• Conduct concrete sampling and other inspections per applicable certifications.
• Document inspections, sampling, and field test results daily using company provided equipment.
• Collaborate with team members and clients to meet project quality standards.
