Job summary

Acuren Inc. is seeking Multi-Cert NDT Level II Technicians to support operations in Borger, TX and Sunray, TX. Local candidates preferred due to on-site requirements.

Responsibilities include setting up NDT equipment, performing inspections, interpreting results, and reporting findings. Candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, with Level II certification and a 40 Hour Radiation Safety Training. Valid TWIC or ability to obtain is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Some college coursework preferred for advancement.
• Certified Level II certification (classroom and on-the-job) is required.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
• Ability to perform NDT tasks and interpret inspection results.
• Knowledge of NDT equipment.
• Experience in report writing.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Establish examination techniques ensuring safety and standards compliance.
• Apply testing criteria and evaluate results.
• Interpret radiographs, CRTs or digital readouts, conductivity meters and indicators.
• Organize and report test results.
• Perform specialized inspections and may supervise others.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned by management.

LOCATION REQUIREMENTS: We are currently seeking candidates who are based in or near Borger, TX | Sunray, TX. While all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to local candidates due to the on-site requirements of this role.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
• Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
• Organize and report test results
• Perform specialized inspections
• May instruct and supervise others
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management
