Acuren is recruiting for a Multi-Cert NDT Level II Technician to support operations in South Roxana, IL. Set up, calibrate, and perform NDT testing to detect defects.

Responsibilities include reporting results, possibly supervising others, and ensuring safety compliance. Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred, Level II certs (RT/MT/PT/UT/VT/PMI/CR/DR) and solid NDT knowledge.

Job description

Acuren is currently recruiting for a Multi-Cert NDT Level II Technician to help support operations in South Roxana, IL. THIS WILL BE A NESTED AND LOCAL CALLOUT POSITION.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
• Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
• Organize and report test results
• Perform specialized inspections
• May instruct and supervise others
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some college preferred
• Certified Level II RT, MT, PT, UT, VT, PMI, CR and DR any combination.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
• Knowledge of NDT equipment
• Experience in report writing

• Pay Transparency: As per applicable state law the job posting pay range is $28.37-$45.67/hr depending on experience and applicable certifications.
