Job summary

Sun Valley Community Church is seeking a Human Resources Director to oversee HR duties across campuses, including onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations. The role requires ensuring regulatory compliance and coaching supervisors on HR practices.

The ideal candidate will lead performance management, audits for legal compliance, and provide guidance on employee handbook updates while traveling to campuses for HR Days and staff training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and any degrees or training relevant to HR duties.
• At least 3 years of experience in HR Generalist or related role with knowledge of HR principles, practices and procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Internet, and database applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage onboarding and offboarding processes, record keeping, file maintenance and reporting.
• Manage benefits programs including open enrollments, changes, terminations, billing, COBRA, and 5500 reporting.
