Job summary

Stratford School is seeking an Elementary Teacher for multi-campus support at Sunnyvale’s Washington Park and De Anza Park campuses. You will assist across K–5 classrooms, supervise, and support teachers while maintaining a positive learning environment.

This developmental, floater role prepares candidates for a future Classroom Teacher position, with opportunities to lead during absences and contribute to long-term lesson planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Prior teaching or classroom experience preferred.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, flexibility, and a love for working with children.
• Reliable transportation between campuses.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional and administrative support across multiple campuses and grade levels.
• Step in as a lead teacher during staff absences.
• Follow established lesson plans or create new ones for long-term assignments.
• Collaborate with lead teachers and school staff to ensure a smooth classroom experience.
• Assist in managing student behavior and maintaining classroom routines.
• Adapt to different grade levels and teaching styles with professionalism and flexibility.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
