Job summary

Stratford School Milpitas is seeking a Multi-Campus Floater Teacher to support elementary classrooms across two Milpitas campuses (grades K–5). You will assist with supervision, support instruction, and step in as lead teacher when needed.

This developmental role prepares you for a future Classroom Teacher position, with opportunities to grow through collaboration with campus staff and teachers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Prior teaching or classroom experience preferred.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, flexibility, and a love for working with children.
• Reliable transportation between two campuses: 25 Corning Avenue, Milpitas, CA; 341 Great Mall Parkway, Milpitas, CA.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional and administrative support across multiple campuses and grade levels.
• Step in as a lead teacher during staff absences.
• Follow established lesson plans or create new ones for long-term assignments.
• Collaborate with lead teachers and school staff to ensure a smooth classroom experience.
• Assist in managing student behavior and maintaining classroom routines.
• Adapt to different grade levels and teaching styles with professionalism and flexibility.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
