Job summary

C&L SUPREME seeks a skilled CNC Swiss Machine Operator to produce precision parts on a multi-axis Swiss-style CNC machine. You will maintain quality and safety standards, keep records, and manage tooling and fluids.

The role requires experience with Swiss-style CNC systems or an apprenticeship, strong math and communication skills, and the ability to read blueprints and GD&T. You will work with a team across shifts to ensure on-time production and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Swiss-style CNC machines or completion of company apprenticeship program.
• Ability to call up programs, offset tools, and general CNC operation knowledge.
• Strong mathematical abilities, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
• Ability to read precision gauges and ensure accurate measurements.
• Ability to produce precision work.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple machines throughout the shift and produce parts within required tolerances.
• Inspect precision parts using precision measuring tools and visual checks.
• Make offset adjustments, sharpen, change and adjust tooling, and maintain fluids.
• Operate and load bar feeder and measure bar stock.
• Check material against blueprint and job specifications; understand material types.
• Maintain equipment via preventive maintenance and keep a clean, safe workstation.
• Communicate with setup personnel, foreman, and other shifts regarding quality and status.
