Job summary

TekPro partners with a premier aerospace manufacturer to hire skilled CNC machinists. You will set up and operate CNC mills or lathes, read aerospace blueprints, and hold tight tolerances while inspecting parts.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with aerospace alloys (aluminum, stainless, titanium, Inconel), know tooling choices and metrology, and work well in a self-directed, quality-driven environment. Shifts available: 1st and 2nd with differential.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC milling and turning.
• Aerospace alloy knowledge is a plus.
• Familiar with GD&T and blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills or lathes in an aerospace environment.
• Interpret blueprints and GD&T quickly and accurately.
• Hold tight tolerances and perform in-process inspections.
• Tweak tool offsets and minor program edits to optimize results.
• Balance quality and throughput to meet schedules.

Aerospace-grade materials including aluminum, stainless, titanium, and Inconel requiring sharp understanding of tooling, speeds/feeds, and precision measurement.

• Interpret complex blueprints and GD&T quickly and accurately?
• Hold tight tolerances and complete in-process inspections with confidence?
• Tweak tool offsets and make minor program edits to optimize results?
• Balance quality and throughput to keep schedules on track?

You have

• Experience in CNC milling and/or turning
• Hands-on background with aerospace alloys (aluminum, stainless, titanium, Inconel, etc.)
• Proficiency with tooling choices, cutting parameters, and metrology tools
• A self-directed work style and consistent craftsmanship
