PDS Tech is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist in Indianapolis, IN to set up and operate Mazak 5-axis mill/turn centers, producing aerospace components with tight tolerances.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, establishing offsets, and verifying accuracy with precision metrology. Prior aerospace experience and U.S. citizenship are required; ITAR/EAR compliance applies.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years CNC machining experience.
  • Ability to read/interpret blueprints, routers, docs.
  • Experience machining Titanium, Inconel, stainless steel or similar.
  • Experience performing complex CNC setups.
  • US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate Mazak 5-axis mill/turn machining centers.
  • Machine aerospace components 35"–65" diameter.
  • Read and interpret manufacturing documentation and blueprints.
  • Establish offsets and home positions; verify with measuring tools.
  • Prove out CNC programs using verification methods.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues to maintain efficiency.
  • Maintain clean, safe work environment.
