Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Ability to teach using multi-sensory education methods.
• Willingness to train in specialized approaches for students with language-based learning differences.
• Desire to teach multicultural curriculum.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach 5 sections of Multi-Arts (Physically Education–optionality for visual arts).
• Apply a multisensory, diagnostic, prescriptive approach to instruction.
• Create and deliver lesson plans specific to student’s needs.
• Offer an after-school activity (M-Th 3:10-4:45pm) (with stipend).
• Perform other duties as required (student supervisory duties: lunch, break, drop off/pick up as scheduled).
