Job summary

Horizon Industries Limited, based in the Washington, DC area, seeks a MuleSoft SME to support sustainment lifecycle management, including design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications. The role emphasizes APIs, BPMN-driven automation, and low-code/no-code platforms, with agile/hybrid practices.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of development experience, MuleSoft Anypoint Platform expertise, and relevant DoD 8570/IAT Level I certifications.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of total work experience developing.
• Experience with APIs to support Low-Code/No-Code models.
• Experience using BPMN tools.
• Experience developing automation software based on BPMN models with Appian, Salesforce, Nintex and MS SQL Server/.NET.
• Experience in agile and hybrid low-code development.
• Experience in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform development.

Responsibilities

Salary Range : There are various factors that are considered in determining finalpayfor a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, education, certifications, and competencies that align with the specified role, as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is: $145,000-$155,000

What we are looking for:

The Mulesoft SME will provide experience and knowledge of sustainment lifecycle management activities for programs and project operations. This role supports the design, development, testing, and maintenance of computer programs to ensure applications meet user and system requirements.

You will work with systems analysts and designers to research and document requirements, analyze objectives, translate solutions into detailed program specifications, and assist with program design and modifications. This position also involves supporting testing, documentation, and reporting to ensure the smooth sustainment of system software applications.

• Five (5) years of total work experience developing.
• Experience with application programming interfaces (APIs) to support Low-Code/No-Code Development Platform models.
• Experience using low-code/no-code business process modeling notation (BPMN) tools.
• Experience developing application/process automation software based on BPMN models; experience using software tools such as Appian, Salesforce, Nintex, etc., with Microsoft SQL Server databases and Microsoft .NET development environment.
• Experience in agile and hybrid low-code application development.
• Experience in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform-based development.

Required Skills:

• Education: BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
• 8570/8140: DoW Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level I.
• Certification:
  • MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 1.
• Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
