Job summary

Seneca Resources is seeking a MuleSoft Integration Developer to design and implement scalable integrations across enterprise systems in a hybrid work setting in McLean, VA. The role focuses on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform development, API design, and secure, well-governed data flows.

You will collaborate with Architecture and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end integrations, support SIT/UAT, and contribute to runbooks and documentation.

Qualifications

• 5 years of hands-on software development experience integrating enterprise systems.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including design, development, deployment, and API lifecycle management.
• Experience designing REST and SOAP APIs using RAML or OpenAPI specifications.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Mule 4 integrations using Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Anypoint Exchange.
• Build RAML/OpenAPI-based REST and SOAP APIs, ensuring adherence to enterprise standards and MuleSoft best practices.
• Develop and maintain integration flows across enterprise systems as part of the Keystone ecosystem.
• Implement authentication and security protocols including OAuth2.0, JWT, SAML, and encryption policies.
• Ensure integrations include error handling, logging, retry logic, auditing, and monitoring configuration.
• Collaborate with the Integration Architect, ICD Lead, Data Lead, and system integrators to validate design decisions.
