Job summary

Peraton is seeking an experienced MuleSoft Developer to join our team in Herndon, VA, hybrid. The role supports the Department of State Consular Systems Modernization program, focusing on MuleSoft design, development, and API lifecycle management.

The candidate will work with stakeholders, ensure security/compliance per FISMA and 508, and contribute to enterprise integrations across CRM/Salesforce platforms. Active Secret clearance required; DoD interim acceptable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5+ years of experience.
• 5+ years in software development lifecycle.
• 3+ years of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform development.
• 2-4 years hands-on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform experience.
• 3+ years of API lifecycles across all stages.
• Experience implementing certificate-based security for Mule applications.
• Experience in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop business functionalities using MuleSoft and CRM/CX technologies.
• Analyze requirements and assess feasibility to achieve desired outcomes.
• Design, develop, document, and implement solutions on MuleSoft platform and API standards.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Address security/compliance (e.g., Section 508, FISMA) for MuleSoft/Salesforce environments.
