Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Develop, modify, test, and support MuleSoft integration code using established Peterson development standards and architecture patterns.
  • Build and maintain basic Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), flows, connectors, and DataWeave transformations for assigned integration work.
  • Participate in translating business and technical requirements into MuleSoft application logic with guidance from senior team members.
  • Apply software development standards through participation in code reviews and refactoring to improve code quality.
  • Use Git/Azure Repos, pull requests, and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to support code review, build, and deployment activities.
  • Assist with deployment of MuleSoft APIs and integration artifacts across Development, Test, and Production environments using approved procedures.
  • Develop and maintain basic DataWeave transformations for JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), Extensible Markup Language (XML), (Comma-Separated Values) CSV, and API payload mapping, with guidance.
  • Configure API Gateways, manage Transport Layer Security (TLS) certificates, and implement security policies to protect data flows.
  • Troubleshoot assigned defects, connectivity issues, failed jobs, and data transformation errors; **escalate** complex production, security, or architecture issues as appropriate.
  • Support API Manager configuration, security policy application, certificate-related tasks, and platform maintenance activities under direction.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, deployment notes, support runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.

INTERPERSONAL CONTACTS

Internal contacts consist of various levels of positions in the company from business unit leaders to entry level positions. Sensitivity is required in dealing with such information and decisions concerning the release or sharing of that information.

External contacts may consist of customers, visitors, manufacturer representatives, vendors, and consultants.

  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues using logs, error messages, and structured problem-solving.
  • Strong learning orientation, documentation habits, and ability to follow established development standards.
