Job summary

Accenture is hiring a MuleSoft Developer in the United States to design, build, and maintain APIs and integrations using Anypoint Platform. The role collaborates with architects, developers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver reliable APIs and scalable integration solutions.

You will work across enterprise integration, cloud technologies, and modern software delivery, with travel as needed to client sites. A strong foundation in Java, REST/SOAP APIs, and MuleSoft is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on software development, Java fundamentals, and OO concepts.
• 2+ years developing SOAP/REST services/APIs including XML, JSON, YAML, and web services.
• 2+ years experience with Git, Agile delivery, unit testing, logging, exception handling, debugging, and API/integration issues.
• 1 year of professional MuleSoft development with Anypoint Platform, Anypoint Studio, Mule Runtime, DataWeave, REST APIs, connectors, and integration components.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years); Associate's degree requires 6 years.
• MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 1 or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, deploy, maintain, and support MuleSoft APIs and integrations based on designs and acceptance criteria.
• Build integration solutions using Anypoint Platform, Anypoint Studio, Mule Runtime, DataWeave, connectors, flows, and reusable components.
• Develop and maintain MUnit tests; support integration testing, UAT, defect resolution, troubleshooting, and debugging.
• Follow established development standards, coding conventions, and API-led connectivity practices.
• Support releases across development, test, and production; monitor logs and assist with incidents and root cause analysis.
• Participate in peer reviews, Agile ceremonies, knowledge transfer, and learning with onshore and offshore teams.
• Use AI/GenAI tools responsibly to support productivity, documentation, and development, while validating technical accuracy.
