Overview

This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following locations: CT, DE, IA, IN, KS, KY, NC, NH, OH, PA, RI, SC, VA, WV, MA, WI, AZ, FL, GA, MI, MO, TN, TX, NJ.

This position requires complex technical knowledge of MuleSoft 4.0, with a strong understanding of MuleSoft development concepts. Candidates should have a good grasp of API Management fundamentals and be capable of creating end-to-end integration deliverables, technical specifications, and high-quality solutions for Mule ESB. The role involves analyzing, coding, testing, and implementing solutions in accordance with the Enterprise SDLC, supporting production systems, and possibly overseeing less experienced analysts or assisting in special projects.

Responsibilities

• System Enhancement - Evaluate and improve department systems, processes, and applications using MuleSoft Platform to construct APIs, develop testing methods, and design materials. Provide time estimates for system changes and assist in implementing modifications. Execute test plans to validate application functions.

• Analysis - Collect data related to user requests, determine scope, estimate time, and assess system impacts. Review business and programming specifications, code, test plans, documentation, and implementation plans for accuracy. Troubleshoot Mule ESB issues, including debugging and configuration.

• Business Support - Provide technical support for production systems, address reported issues, anticipate maintenance needs, and ensure end-user functionality. Draft documentation for systems, end users, and operations, including technical specifications and application designs. Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies is preferred.

• Technical Expertise - Design and develop MuleSoft APIs, deploy into cloud environments, and develop interfaces and integration flows using Mule ESB Anypoint Studio, Mule Connectors, Database, MSMQ, HTTP, Web Services, and Email. Create API architectures with Experience, Process, and System API layers, and work with components of the Anypoint platform and API management.

• On-call Support - Provide 24/7 on-call support via rotations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of Application Engineering experience or High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of experience. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

• Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Studio, RAML, DataWeave, CloudHub, and On-Prem deployment.
• Certification in MuleSoft is preferred.
• Experience creating custom policies, securing APIs, integrating with Salesforce using MuleSoft connectors, and APIs with SQL databases.
• Experience with SQL Server, stored procedures, and functions.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GIT, pipelines, and release management.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman, SOAP-UI, and JMeter.
• Experience with Agile software development.
