Job summary

BICO Drilling Tools, Inc. is seeking a Mud Motor Technician III in Houston, TX to assemble and disassemble mud motors used in drilling operations. The candidate should have strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires attention to detail, technical capability, and commitment to safety while operating mud motors. Forklift experience is a plus, and fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to assemble/disassemble complex gear and motors.
• Ability to read and interpret production requirements and blueprints.
• Fluent English communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble bearing sections and complete mud motors.
• Identify and verify power section models.
• Document assembly/disassembly service reports accurately.
• Maintain QC for disassembled motors and measure power sections.
• Assist shipping/receiving and work under supervision as needed.
