Job summary

GPS Solutions LLC is seeking a dedicated MTSS Tutor/Paraprofessional for a part-time schedule at Charlotte Mason Community School. You will deliver targeted instruction, support teachers, and help students meet academic and behavioral goals within MTSS frameworks.

The role runs 7:30am–12:00pm, Monday through Thursday or Monday–Friday, with a weekly limit of 22.5 hours. Pay ranges from $18 to $30 per hour, reflecting experience and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university.
• SAT scores: at least 480 in reading/writing and 530 in math.
• Passing score on the ETS Parapro Assessment (460) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support to students in small group and one-on-one settings.
• Assist in implementing MTSS strategies to support learning needs.
• Collaborate with teachers to develop and deliver individualized learning plans.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to educators and administrators.

Job Overview:

GPS Solutions is seeking a dedicated and passionate MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) Tutor/Paraprofessional to join our team. In this part-time role, you will work closely with students, teachers, and administrators to support the academic and behavioral needs of our students. Your efforts will be crucial in helping students achieve their full potential through targeted instruction and intervention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic support to students in small group and one-on-one settings.
• Assist in the implementation of MTSS strategies to support students' learning needs.
• Collaborate with teachers to develop and deliver individualized learning plans.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to educators and administrators.
• Support classroom management and assist in maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Education Requirement (one of the following):

• A minimum of 60 credit hours from an accredited university or college, or
• College Board’s SAT – Must score at least 480 on evidence-based reading and writing, and 530 on math, or
• ETS Parapro Assessment – A passing score of 460 is required

Preferred:

• Bachelor's of Science or Arts in Education
• Valid Michigan teaching certificate and applicable endorsement(s) as required by the Michigan Department of Education

7:30am-12:00pm Monday- Thursday or Monday- Friday

This person cannot exceed 22.5 hours a week.
