Job summary

Cedar Rapids Community School District is seeking a Tier I SEBH Leader to collaborate with building administration and staff to implement a coordinated MTSS for social emotional behavioral health. This role supports teachers and aligns with the district vision of Every Learner: Future Ready.

The position emphasizes equity, high reliability systems, and adult learning to drive student success. Additional duties extend beyond contract time, with a focus on leadership within CRPS District MTSS

Qualifications

Reflective, growth-oriented, open to feedback and coaching.
Commitment to equity principles and culturally responsible pedagogy.
Willingness to learn High Reliability Schools framework.
Experience implementing a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS).
Commitment to adult learning as a driver of student outcomes.
Leadership experience in roles like PLC Leader or Team Leader preferred.
Knowledge of curriculum, instruction & assessment.
Ability to design and facilitate adult learning experiences.

Responsibilities

Provide direction and leadership for MTSS Tier I in alignment with district vision.
Collaborate with Tier I Team and staff to implement MTSS goals and actions.
Monitor and evaluate MTSS implementation and core SEBH resources.
Deliver professional learning to teachers and PLC teams.
Foster a safe, collaborative school culture.
Participate in district professional development to build MTSS capacity.
