The Grosse Pointe Public School System seeks an MTSS Coach - Academics and Attendance to support student achievement, attendance, and engagement through MTSS. You will manage a student caseload, provide targeted academic interventions, and collaborate with teachers to strengthen Tier 1 practices across Parcells Middle School.

The role emphasizes data-driven instruction, progress monitoring, and coordination with families and school teams to promote student success and school connectedness.

Qualificações

• Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate (Math or English focus preferred).
• Data Analysis and Progress Monitoring Skills.
• Knowledge of MTSS Frameworks and Equity-Focused Practices.
• Experience Supporting Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS).

Responsabilidades

• Provide targeted academic intervention and support for students identified through MTSS processes.
• Maintain and monitor a caseload of students requiring additional academic, attendance, and engagement support.
• Deliver individualized and small group instruction focused on skill deficits identified through student data.
• Utilize assessment and progress-monitoring data to develop, adjust, and monitor intervention plans.
• Collaborate with teachers to strengthen Tier 1 instructional practices and implement research-based interventions.
