Job summary

Mason Public Schools in Michigan is seeking an MTSS Aide to support students with diverse needs within the classroom. The role involves one-on-one and small-group instruction, data collection, and collaboration with the MTSS team.

Working 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, Monday through Friday, this part-time position offers a stable schedule and the opportunity to contribute to student progress while maintaining confidentiality and a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Positive attitude and rapport with students.
• Ability to work cooperatively with teachers and students.

Responsibilities

• Assist in tutoring individual students or groups of students.
• Assist teacher in helping students develop a positive self-concept.
• Assist in student intervention work & progress monitoring.
• Assist in the preparation of intervention materials.
• Assist in keeping intervention materials & room neat and orderly.
• Work collaborative as member of building MTSS team.
• Supervises students upon arrival to school.
• Supervises a portion of lunch recess.
• Responsible for maintaining confidentiality for all school-related information.
• Shall perform other duties as assigned by the principal.
