Job summary

Waterworks in Brookfield, CT, is seeking an Assembly Associate to breakdown, re-assemble and package products for our made-to-order plumbing program. You will track details, ensure quality and coordinate with external finishing vendors.

We value hands-on coordination, professional interaction with partners, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs while standing for long periods. This on-site role offers growth in a collaborative, design-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in light manufacturing for consumer products.
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to interact professionally with internal partners and outside manufacturers/suppliers.
• Demonstrated tactile and hand/eye coordination skills.
• Ability to use JD Edwards, JotForm, and email to enter and track data.
• Shows a passion for quality work and client satisfaction.
• Willingness to pursue personal and professional development.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform breakdown, outsourcing and re-assembly/packaging of product.
• Disassemble and re-assemble plumbing/hardware for finishing processes.
• Follow specs from product/engineering teams for customization.
• Record product details before shipment and inspect re-finished items.
• Maintain relationships with finishing vendors and monitor quality/delivery.
• Assess feasibility of made-to-order requests and manage workflow inventory.
• Fulfill client/supply chain orders as needed.
• Promote quality and continuous improvement across Waterworks product lines.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
