Job summary

Kroger is seeking an on-site Medication Therapy Management (MTM) Pharmacy Technician in Columbus, OH. You will answer patient inquiries, enter data in pharmacy/vendor systems, and support patient care while upholding HIPAA and company standards.

As a mentor and point of contact for the Patient Services Technician role, you will collaborate with pharmacy teams, providers, and insurers to deliver comprehensive care and maintain a high level of customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Typing speed 35–40 wpm.
• State registered/licensed or nationally certified pharmacy technician.
• Ability to pass FBI/BCI background check.
• Capable of maintaining composure in stressful situations.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks/projects.
• Strong written and oral communication with customers.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
• Call center experience desirable.
• Proven customer service background.

Responsibilities

• Answer patient inquiries via phone or email and data-entry into pharmacy systems.
• Serve as first point of contact, support patient escalation, and mentor junior staff.
• Protect patient information per HIPAA and company standards.
• Maintain accuracy and a customer-first approach to tasks.
• Resolve difficult customer situations professionally.
• Achieve productivity levels per contact center standards.
• Act as liaison between Kroger Health Connect and patients.
• Strive for first contact resolution and proper follow-up.
• Collaborate with patients, pharmacy, providers, and insurers to deliver care.
