Job summary

Infinite Consulting Corp is seeking an MTA Safety Manager in New York, NY. You will develop, implement, and oversee safety programs, ensuring compliance with MTA safety standards and federal, state, and local regulations across transit operations, maintenance facilities, stations, yards, and construction projects.

The role requires a valid Licensed Site Safety Manager and offers opportunities to lead safety initiatives, coordinate with operations and engineering teams, and drive a safety-first

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Licensed Site Safety Manager credential.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee safety policies to ensure compliance with MTA safety standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular workplace safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments; implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, FTA requirements, and transit safety standards.
• Oversee safety performance across transit operations, maintenance facilities, stations, and construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with MTA safety standards and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct regular workplace safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, FTA requirements, and applicable transit industry safety standards.
• Oversee safety performance across transit operations, maintenance facilities, stations, rail yards, and construction projects.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and project management teams to address safety concerns and reduce operational risks.
