Job summary

Healing Rock Recovery invites qualified Medical Assistants to join our team in Billings, MT. This full-time, on-site role supports both clinical care and care coordination for PHP and IOP clients, reporting to the Director of Medical Services.

You will assist with injections, phlebotomy, vital signs, and documentation while coordinating referrals and continuity of care. The ideal candidate has an accredited MA program and CMA/RMA certification, experience with EMR systems (Kipu a plus), and

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current CMA or RMA certification.
• Proficiency in injections and phlebotomy within Montana scope of practice.
• Experience with EMR systems; Kipu experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer injections and perform phlebotomy within Montana scope.
• Support onsite medical care for PHP and IOP clients.
• Monitor and record vital signs with precision.
• Ensure clinical compliance, infection control, and safety protocols.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and medication management.
• Schedule medical and clinical appointments, including telehealth.
• Maintain accurate client records in Kipu EMR (training provided).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to support integrated care delivery.
