Job summary

Healing Rock Recovery in Billings, MT is hiring a Medical Assistant for a full‑time, on‑site role supporting clinical care and care coordination. You will administer injections and perform phlebotomy, manage client records in Kipu EMR, and assist with intakes and group sessions.

The Opportunity

In this full-time, on‑site role, the Medical Assistant provides both clinical support and care coordination. Reporting to the Director of Medical Services, you will assist with medical tasks while managing clients' care plans, referrals, and treatment continuity. Your dual role helps ensure a seamless, holistic approach to each client's recovery journey.

What You'll Do

Clinical Support:

• Administer injectable medications and perform phlebotomy within Montana's allowable scope of practice
• Support onsite medical care for PHP and IOP clients
• Monitor and record vital signs with precision
• Ensure clinical compliance, infection control, and safety protocols
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and medication management

Administrative Support:

• Schedule medical and clinical appointments, both in‑person and via telehealth

Requirements

What You Bring

Required:

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Current CMA or RMA certification
• Proficiency in administering injections and performing phlebotomy within Montana's scope of practice
• Experience with electronic medical record systems (Kipu experience a plus, not required)
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills

Compensation and Benefits

$39,000 to $50,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid vacation, sick leave, public holidays, and maternity and paternity leave.
