Job summary

Bond Health is seeking a compassionate Certified Music Therapist to join our team and support students’ educational, social, emotional, and behavioral goals through therapeutic music services. The role involves collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and documentation of progress.

The ideal candidate will have MT-BC certification, a degree in music therapy, and experience with children or individuals with special needs, enabling effective individual and group sessions within a school setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Music Therapy.
• Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC).
• Experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct music therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group music therapy sessions.
• Support students in achieving educational, communication, social, emotional, and behavioral goals.
• Document progress and maintain accurate records.
• Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team meetings as required.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, administrators, and families.
• Adapt interventions to meet each student's unique needs and abilities.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and professional standards.
• Prepare progress reports and recommendations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
