Job summary

The Valley Hospital-Paramus seeks a qualified social worker to engage patients and families in identifying psychosocial needs and coordinating optimal, safe plans of care. You will educate, counsel, and refer as indicated, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and community resources.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in social work, a New Jersey Social Work License (MSW with LSW or LCSW), and strong communication and teamwork abilities to handle diverse, high-pressure scenarios.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work from an accredited program.
• Previous social work experience preferred.
• New Jersey Social Work License required. MSW and LSW or LCSW required.
• Effective group process skills and strong communication abilities.
