Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast seeks a Social Worker (MSW) to perform non-clinical, biopsychosocial assessments and interventions on inpatient floors and the outpatient ED. Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or related field required.
• Clinical licensure as LCSW or LBSW preferred or required as stated.

Responsibilities

• Perform biopsychosocial assessments and interventions on inpatient and ED patients.
• Coordinate discharge planning and address barriers to recovery.
• Provide crisis intervention, emotional support, and referrals to resources.
• Collaborate with care team to meet patient and family needs and preferences.
• Advise on Medicare/Medicaid and private payer processes relevant to social work.
• Support patients and families facing end-of-life or complex psychosocial issues.
