Job summary

MultiCare, including Navos Behavioral Health, is seeking a Social Worker MSW in Seattle to aid participants and families with social and environmental challenges affecting health and home life. This role leverages strong analysis, interpretation, and interpersonal skills to support patients through complex issues.

The position requires a Master’s in Social Work and experience in hospital or acute settings, with duties including assessments, coordinating services, and documentation, in a 1.0 FTE

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work as required by department (LSWAIC, LMHC, LMFT, LASW, LICSW).
• Experience working in a hospital/acute setting or equivalent social service agency, relative to medical social work.

Responsibilities

• Administer assessment tools and gather data for assessment and to assess for optional needed services.
• Interview families to determine social work needs of the participant.
• Contact community resources to coordinate services.
• Provide initial and ongoing assessment of participant's social, emotional and cognitive status and needs, involving participant and other staff members in the assessment.
• Ensure documentation is maintained for all assessments, treatment plans, and evaluations.
