Job summary

Moravian University invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor in the Master of Social Work (MSW) program within the School of Behavioral & Community Health. This twelve-month, tenure-track or clinical faculty position involves teaching, advising, course development, and service across the MSW program and the School.

The successful candidate will teach in multiple domains, contribute to accreditation efforts, and participate in interprofessional education.

Qualifications

• PhD/DSW preferred; MSW required.
• MSW from CSWE-accredited program required.
• Minimum of two years full-time social work practice experience.
• Current LSW or LCSW in PA or eligible for licensure within four months.
• Experience teaching both online and in-person courses.
• Demonstrated commitment to multicultural, anti-racist practice (ADEI).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; scholarly activity for tenure-track.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and assess MSW courses, including generalist and specialist topics.
• Assess student learning and program competencies across the MSW curriculum.
• Contribute to MSW accreditation goals and activities.
• Teach in interactive online formats and participate in monthly in-person residencies at Moravian's Bethlehem campus.
• Engage in team-teaching, interprofessional education, and collaboration across SoBach and the University.
• Identify new courses/concentrations, and participate in partnerships and program development.
• Provide service to the institution per faculty handbook (committees, advising, and ceremonies).
