Job summary

Tulane University is seeking a Practicum Advisor II in the Master of Social Work (MSW) Practicum Education Department to manage student placements and provide ongoing oversight for practicum experiences. The role reports to the Assistant Director and supports the academic environment with faculty, staff, students, and site partners.

Ideal candidates hold a LMSW in Louisiana and an MSW from a CSWE-accredited program; licensure as an LCSW is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) in the state of Louisiana.
• Master of Social Work from a CSWE-accredited University.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate placement and oversee practicum experiences.
• Communicate with faculty, staff, students, course instructors, and site supervisors.
• Maintain confidentiality and FERPA compliance.
• Demonstrate professional, nonjudgmental problem-solving in practicum placements and student development.
• Present a poised, professional role model for students.
