Job summary

Institute on Aging in San Francisco offers a paid MSW internship to support care management and service coordination for low-income older adults and people with disabilities. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; seeking an MSW internship in accredited MSW program.
• Experience with older adults and disabilities is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer proficiency for documentation and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Co-manage a caseload alongside a Care Manager mentor.
• Assist in client assessments, care plans, and service coordination.
• Complete required onboarding and documentation; maintain timely notes.
• Attend MDT meetings and trainings; participate in field visits.
• Maintain organized records and support client education and empowerment.
