Selfhelp is looking for a Master of Social Work Intern to support older adult clients in New York under the guidance of a certified Social Worker. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, advocating for clients, and assisting with applications for benefits.

Under the supervision of a Seminar in Field Instruction (SIFI)-certified Social Worker, the Master of Social Work Intern is responsible for providing support and assistance to older adult clients in New York.

The responsibilities will vary according to the department to which the intern is placed: Case Management, Naturally Occurring Retirement Communities (NORC), Community Guardian Program (CGP), Older Adult Centers (OAC), Selfhelp Active Services for Aging Model (SHASAM), Holocaust Survivor Program (HSP), and Virtual Senior Center (VSC).
