Job summary

Catholic Charities of Buffalo seeks a Clinician in Multisystemic Therapy to empower youth and families through strength-based behavioral change. The MST therapist collaborates with families, schools, and community partners in Buffalo, NY to implement MST with fidelity.

The role includes ongoing supervision, training, and a flexible schedule with hybrid work options. A master’s degree in a relevant field is required and experience with MST is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in clinical or counseling psychology, social work, or related field.
• New master's level graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with evidence-based therapies such as CBT, family systems, solution-focused, and motivational interviewing.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings or weekends; reliable transportation to service eight-county WNY region.

Responsibilities

• Engage in weekly case planning and evaluation with supervisor and team.
• Provide clinical treatment to families using MST principles.
• Conduct thorough assessments of client and family to inform treatment.
• Promote engagement of primary caregivers and community supports.
• Support agency vision and participate in program development.
