Capella University seeks an Academic Program Director to provide strategic leadership for curriculum development, delivery, and ongoing quality improvement. You will coordinate with deans and faculty directors to maintain rigorous programs, ensure accreditation readiness, and drive learner success and engagement across online offerings.

The role requires a doctoral degree, an MSN, and demonstrated leadership in academia with experience managing remote, matrixed teams. Some travel is expected.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years teaching in an accredited program; online higher education teaching experience preferred.
• Significant leadership in academia or practitioner settings; supervisory experience of faculty required.
• Experience managing remote teams in a matrix environment preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development and revision of academic offerings and curricula.
• Oversee curriculum design, delivery, assessment, and accreditation readiness.
• Coordinate with deans, faculty directors, and departments to manage curriculum processes.
• Preside over accreditation self-studies; ensure alignment with HLC practices.
• Build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to advance programs.
• Oversee course scheduling, faculty supervision, and performance reviews.
• Travel and work with diverse teams; mentor faculty quarterly.
